Now... How to start? Shall I begin with the age old "I started this blog because..." It does does seem rather appropriate but I can't help but feel feel it is too cliche. Maybe I could just jump right into a story letting the content itself speech for itself. That however leaves me without a nice little post I can point too when people are trying to decide if this blog is for them. I then run into the issue of what exactly is this blog about, well, it is about me; the stuff I think; and the things I do. Now that all cleared up I suppose it is kind of obvious where I should begin.
Let me tell you about me. I am Doug, I am 20 years old(I still have to think about that for several seconds). I am Australian, and I fulfill a good deal of the stereotypes about nerds. I play a lot of video games; read a lot of books; I play tabletop RPG's; and spend a good deal of time inside. I also was bullied at school; suffer from depression and ADHD. All that said, I also regularly go out with friend to parties, love spending time at the beach, and swimming in general and have a beautiful girlfriend.
I reason behind me starting this blog is that often I have idea, thoughts or feelings I just don't feel comfortable sharing with the people I know, and for some fucked up reason it seems quite a bit easier to share them with the rest of the world then the people I care about. Not that is all doom and gloom, I am also looking forward to showing off some of the cool stuff I do, and the interesting things me and my friends get up to.
That though is enough for today, perhaps I shall write some more tomorrow
